Jagannath Temple is one of the most
renowned as well as the biggest temples of Orissa. Established in the

attractions of the Jagannatha Temple of Puri comprises of its Rath Yatra
that is organized every year.
Konark Sun Temple is located, in
the state of Orissa near the sacred city of Puri. The sun Temple of
Konark is dedicated to the sun God or Surya. It is a masterpiece of
Orissa's medieval architecture. Sun temple has been declared a world
heritage site by UNESCO.
Dhauli Hill is presumed to be the
area where Kalinga War was fought. Orissa's important centre of Buddhist
activities and second Shanti Stupa is Dhauli. This stupa was built by
the Indians, in collaboration with the Japanese. Dhauli hill is located
near Daya River, which is10 km south of the present Bhubaneswar.
Chilika Lakes in Orissa are world
famous. Orissa has a number of sparkling lakes both natural and
artificial. The natural lakes are the Chilika, the Sar and the Samang
with salt water and the Ansupa.Spread over 1,100 sq km of clean blue
water, evergreen hillocks tours to Chilika Lake, the largest inland
brackish water lake in Asia.
Pipili is probably most well known
handicraft in Puri and surrounding area. Each and every family of here
are engaged themselves in this applique craft. This is livelihood of
most people here. It is famous for designing beautiful Applique
Raghurajpur is a small village
located near the pilgrimage site of Puri in Orissa. It is located at
about 12 km away from Puri. The most famous attraction here is the
Pattachitra, paintings on pieces of fabric. Tourists can buy hand-
crafted stone idols, masks and wooden toys from the villagers.
